        Music and Drama

        Discovering Talent Beyond the Classroom

At VFM School, we believe that every child has a talent waiting to be discovered. Our Music and Drama Club has become one of the most loved and active clubs in the school, giving learners an opportunity to express themselves, build confidence and develop their talents.

VFM School has continued to make its mark on major stages. Most recently, our school emerged the best in the Nyanza Region in the Band category, earning an opportunity to represent the region at the national level. Over the past five years, VFM School learners have consistently participated in the National Music Festivals, with the most recent festival held in Bungoma County, where the school emerged as runners-up.

Beyond competitions, our learners also use music and drama to entertain and engage the community. Through performances at community events and school activities, the club has helped create a strong connection between VFM School and the community around us.

From the classroom to the biggest stages, VFM continues to give learners the opportunity to discover their voices, showcase their talents and grow in confidence because education is not only about what a child learns, but also about discovering what they can do.

Swimming also helps children improve concentration, reduce stress, and build self-confidence as they achieve new milestones in the water.

        Scouting

At VFM, scouting is more than just an activity , it is a powerful platform that helps learners grow into confident, disciplined, and responsible young leaders. Through scouting, children develop practical life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and self-reliance, all within a safe and guided school environment. Learners participate in outdoor adventures, community service, environmental conservation, first aid training, and character-building programs that nurture courage, responsibility, and patriotism from an early age.
