Overview of Early Year Education (EYE)

At VFM, Early Years Education (EYE) is the very first and most important stage of a child’s learning journey, covering beginners, playgroup and Pre-Primary (PP1 & PP2) . At this level, the focus is not on exams, but on helping a child grow naturally by building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills. Learning is largely Exploratory and activity-driven, meaning children explore, ask questions, create, and interact with their environment in ways that make learning enjoyable and meaningful. The goal is to nurture curiosity, confidence, creativity, and basic life skills while identifying each child’s unique talents and interests early. Children are guided to understand, express themselves, and solve simple problems, preparing them for future learning.

      • Important information for you

        Progress report

The students are expected to come with spring files, where the assessment reports for each learning area are attached for the students to carry home. However, we encourage parents to accompany the pupils to school to pick the reports after every assessment result is completed and compiled. The reports are also shared on the Parents’ portal at the end of each assessment. The Parent-Teacher Consultations are encouraged regularly to assist in the progress of the child.

        Term Events

Every termly events are shared in the students portal at the beginning of every term. We encourage parents and students to visit the portal regularly to get updated on the upcoming events.

        Health and Nutrition

At VFM, we place your child’s well-being at the center of their learning experience by providing nutritious, balanced meals that fuel healthy growth, concentration, and energy throughout the day. Our on-site school clinic ensures that learners have immediate access to professional care whenever needed, assuaring parents peace of mind. In addition, we nurture lifelong healthy habits through daily hygiene and wellness routines, helping children develop responsibility for their own health in a safe and supportive environment.
